Cardinals reward Dockett

The Arizona Cardinals have given defensive tackle Darnell Dockett a four-year contract extension worth up to $48 million, with $36 million guaranteed. Dockett had two years left on his previous contract, so the new deal runs through the 2015 season.

The Arizona Cardinals have replaced Matt Leinart with Derek Anderson as starting quarterback for Saturday's preseason game against the Chicago Bears. Typically the team's third preseason game is used as a dress rehearsal for the regular season.
